A silver-mounted Ottoman yatagan, circa 1800 Ornamental silver inlays on both sides of the blade right up to the point. Cut back of the blade. Gilt blade mounting decorated with filigree, and a silver grip with niello decoration, set with corals, and darkened in places. The silver scabbard with a monster head chape and beautifully embossed with floral decoration. The locket also decorated with filigree, and a four-piece silver chain attached. Length cm.
