The two men in the close foreground are turning holding the same wooden sword, one jumping almost into the camera. Morris Dancing is a traditional English form of Folk Dance, mainly performed by men, and has enjoyed a revival in recent years. These men, in brightly decorated costumes with sashes and hats with flowers, are based in the London suburb of Harrow.
