Dorchester, Oxfordshire - 8 August 2020 : no people in view. Dorchester on Thames - not to be confused with the larger town of Dorchester in Dorset - is a small and pretty village located by the confluence of the Thames and Thame River, about 8km SE of Oxford. Inhabited since the Neolithic, its main claim to fame is its fine medieval Abbey, parts of which date back to Saxon and Norman times. This is the Abbey's adjoining graveyard and thatched priory house.
