A departure board for a Reading-bound train via Ascot seen during the action taken by the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) scheduled over five days has affected passengers travelling from Waterloo via South Western Railway (SWR) services to Ascot, where Britain's most prestigious horseracing meeting, Royal Ascot begun on Tuesday. Passengers are advised to allow additional time for the journey.
