Appeared in an issue of Alois Auer's bi-monthly magazine Faust, Polygrafhisch-illustrirte Zeitschrift fur Kunst, Wissenschaft Industrie und Unterhaltung, Vol 1, 1854 published by the Austrian National Printing Office in Vienna. Auer was the director of the Printing Office, which created illustrated volumes of scientific interest and produced many advances in printing technology.
