Mountain Landscape ca. 1761–63 Soga Sh?haku Japanese This Chinese-style landscape by Soga Sh?haku, created when he was in his early thirties, demonstrates his indebtedness to Kano School technique and anticipates a type of composition that he would become famous for: Chinese style pavilions in an evocative lakeside setting with steep mountains in the background.
