Christine Cavill 66 found the service particularly helpful over xmas when because she was looking after her frail housebound husband she couldn't get out and deliver cards to her friends that lived locally . also keen to try new ideas ! The Welly Post , Wellington , Somerset . Local newsagents Lorraine Lettley 62 and daughter Trish 37 [ not pictured] devised the idea in the run up to Xmas 2013 to set up their own postal service to serve the local community with her husband Richard 66 being brought out of retirement to run the deliveries on his bike. The idea was such a success that they have continued with the service and now have over 12 local businesses on board. Customers drop mail off at their shop E J Teare and are guaranteed a next day delivery for 30p per item.
