Lange Voorhout, The Hague, The Netherlands. Tuesday 26th April, 2022. The LIFE I LIVE. The two-day festival begins on King’s Night (Koninsnacht) the evening before Kingsday. The outdoor music festival celebrating the King’s birthday takes place on the 26 & 27 April each year in The Hague city centre. The celebration is a nation-wide event. Numerous performers are onstage simultaneously throughout The Hague, and this year’s opening act of 2022, is the Ukrainian electro-folk band ‘GO_A.’ The group finished fifth in last year’s Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam. Because the three male band members of the foursome are from Ukraine, they were not permitted to leave the country, this was waived for what will be their second show since the outbreak of the war.
