MINIATUM. (Imantopliylluin.) A pretty lily-like plant of the easiest culture, and a most desirable house plant; it flowers during the spring and summer months, remaining in bloom for a long period. The flowers are about 2 inches long and are borne in dense clusters of from ten to twenty flowers on each; in color it is of a fine orange-red shading to buff'. (See cut.) 50 cts. each. COB^A SCANDE3SS. Clerodendkon Balfouri. CROTONS. Nothing can excel the beauty and richness of coloring that is found in this class of plants. They are beautiful as pot plants for the conservatory, making hand- some specimens for decorative and purposes, and are now used extensively as bedding plants, for which purpose they are exceptionally well adapted. They should be planted in full sun in a position where they can be liberally supplied with water, which develops the most wonderful color- ings in the foliage. Undoubtedly the interesting and showiest bedding in our Philadelphia parks, the past few years, was made with this plant. We enumerate below a few of the leading varieties, but can supply many other sorts : Andreanum. Deep green with yellow and crimson markings. Baron James tie Rothschild.
