Elected Archbishop Joachim (Jachym) of Prague, born as Roman Hrdy, holds a new Archbishop's crosier during the ceremony of his enthronement as a new Archbishop of Prague, the religious leader of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands, in Saints Cyril and Methodius Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic, on February 1, 2014. Bishop Joachim of Hodonin was appointed by the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia to serve as a new Archbishop of Prague on January 11, 2014.
