Onthe back of the hand there was a smaller vesicle, of a differentcolour and character ; it was visibly raised, overlapping at theouter margin, and depressed in the centre, on a less circum-scribed but obvious base. The vesicle was of a light flesh colour;its central crust dark brown, and a moderate light rose-colouredareola, and some tumefaction surrounded and raised the small red imperfectly vesiculated pimple was seen on the leftcheek—noticed by the patient now for the first time.
