Carl-Zuckmayer pedestrian bridge above the Rathaus Schöneberg U-Bahn station next to a duck pond in the Rudolph Wilde Park In The U4 U-bahn line divides the park into an eastern and a western section. The western part houses a duck pond with a natural landscape while the smaller eastern part begins directly at the Schöneberg Town Hall and is known as the architectural or geometric section part of the park. The Rudolph-Wilde park is part of the large Volkspark Wilmersdorf-Schöneberg that partly straddles the boundary of these two boroughs The Volkspark Wilmersdorf part was originally called "Seepark" (lake park), while the Schöneberg section was originally "Stadtpark Schöneberg".
