MITOSIS
Mitosis. Representation of various steps of mitosis : -During prophase, the chromatin of the nucleus of the mother-cell organizes into 46 pairs of chromosomes, the nuclear envelope breaks, the centrioles move to the opposite poles and the mitotic spindle forms itself. - The metaphase is the stage during which the chromosomes align at the centre of the mitotic spindle . - The anaphase is the phase during which the elements of the cell starts to organize and separate in an identical manner so as to give two daughters cells. - The telophase is the stage during which the two cells start to separate and the nucleus reforms. - At interphase, the chromatin of the nucleus of the two identical daughters cells have decondensed.
