Designed to increase crop pro- duction through greater knowledge of irrigation water, the program includes a free water sampling kit plus a specially designed computer report and interpretation of labora- tory results. The free sampling kits include everything needed to easily collect and ship water samples to Harris, one of the nation's largest indepen- dent testing laboratories. Water sample bottles, identification labels, sampUng instructions, and postage- paid mailing tubes are all included. Three days after samples arrive at the laboratory, results and a clear interpretation of 19 different irriga- tion water tests are on the way back to the grower. The report has been designed to increase the understanding of re- sults by showing graphs which chart each test as "satisfactory," "possi- ble problem," or "probable prob- ; Also, most test results are reported in the familiar units of pounds per acre foot to improve understanding.
