The metal wire in two techniques: so-called laid gold wire (or couché, couched gold), silver thread, respectively, and in cannetille, spirally embroidered. Acorn-shaped tassels, acorns in gold thread on the corners of the lid. Pattern: within a rectangular border, each side of which is symmetrically filled with volute drinks, pansies, hearts and florets, is a horizontal, oval scrollwork cartouche with a family emblem (?). This represents a falcon sitting on a large sphere of heaven, armillary sphere (celestial globe), between two laurel branches. There were once inscriptions and dates ... VIRTUTE ... and 1598.
