Chief Master Sgt. LaTasha Mitchell completed more than 24 years as a Citizen Airmen, retiring as Senior Enlisted Leader of the Texas Air National Guard, in a ceremony at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, on March 19, 2022. Her guidance and mentorship throughout her time as a Guardsman included many assignments to include the first female African-American Command Chief for the 136th Airlift Wing here.
