Mikkelsen Harbour is a safe anchorage on the southern edge of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago. It contains a small island - D'Hainaut - which has a gentoo penguin colony and an Argentine refuge hut. The island, once the domain of sealers and whalers. is now frequented by passenger cruise ships during the Antarctic summer.
