A model 1889 helmet for enlisted personnel, of the "Gardereiter-Regiment". Tombac skull, silver-plated star with superimposed coat of arms, convex metal chinscales on "91" buttons. Enlisted personnel cockades. Regimental mark, "GP" on the inside of the front peak edging. The brown leather lining bears the quartermaster stamp of the uniform office of the XVII Corps. The rear peak is covered with leather. Silver-plated parade lion over the cipher shield. Size 56. Rare helmet in immaculate condition.
