Tate Modern: display on the wall of the Riverside entrance advertising the Matisse Cut Outs Exhibition 2014, London England UK
This important, well publicised and generally well reviewed exhibition, running from 17 April - 7 September 2014 brings together a large collection of Matisse's last works, when unable to paint any longer because of infirmity and ill health, he created art works using painted paper, which he cut out into shapes of his own design, and with the aid of assistants transferred the shapes onto paper to make the final image.
