"Horse At Water" sculpture at Via Fiori, Taikoo Place, Hong Kong SAR
The sculpture "Horse At Water" sits over the fountain area at Taikoo Place, close to the landscaped garden Via Fiori, aka Taikoo Park, on the east side of Hong Kong Island, close to Taikoo and Quarry Bay MTR stations. It was created by UK sculptor Nic Fiddian-Green and inspired by the horses of the Han Dynasty. The new developments in Taikoo are generally upscale accommodations, catering often to expats, and it is notable that western restaurants are appearing in the vicinity. This is a prosperous part of Hong Kong and is reflected in the art.
