A German pivoted visor, circa 1580 Visor for a light-weight close helmet, assembled from old parts. The face guard sliding on two lames with spring-loaded bolt lock. The upper plate with finely turned-under and roped edge as well as dot-shaped and slotted ventilation holes. The bevor with holes for the hinges on the sides, the right side with suspension loop for a hook-and-eye closure (one old repair on the left lower edge).
