Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Angelo M. Alano, assault amphibious vehicle Marine, with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion (2nd AAVBN), 2nd Marine Division (2nd MARDIV), observes the start of the Gator Skin Initiative proof of concept field exercise at Landing Zone Falcon on Camp Lejeune, , Oct. 3, 2017. 2nd AAVBN is conducting proof of concept field exercise where the individual companies will have AAV crews compete against each other to see which has developed the best mobile Cammie-net system and tactics, techniques and procedures for the employment of the systems.
