This illustration of Alice and the Unicorn and Lion is from "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There" by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), who wrote this novel in 1871 as a sequel to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." It shows Alice holding a plum cake with a knife in it for the Unicorn and Lion.
