The fruit forms inclusters to the very tipsof the branches. It isa constant and prolificbearer, entirely hardy,having endured 00 degreesbelow zero, and bornefruit the following sum-mer. Before being touchedby frost it is very acid;freezing subdues it, untilit becomes so rich andpalatable that as a dessertWhile for jellies it is claimed.
