Thenumber of pastors employed increased fifty per cent., andthe amount paid for ministerial support nearly one hundredper cent. Benjamin Pilsbury was born in Boscawen, N. H., October25, 1824. His ancestors came to this country from England,in 1651, and settled in that part of Newbury, Mass., calledBelleville.
