Native to South America, this plant is often grown in parks and residential areas. When this plant blooms, this plant has a habit of shedding some of its leaves. The shape is a small tree that is difficult to grow upright that has a flower sheath. This plant is called paper flower because of the thin shape of the flower sheath and has characteristics like paper. The English name of this flower is bougainvillea which is taken from the name of Sir Louis Antoine de Bougainville, a French naval soldier. Among the famous paper flowers are Bougainvillea 'Elizabeth Angus', Bougainvillea 'Red', Bougainvillea Pultonii, Bougainvillea 'Easter Parade', and Bougainvillea 'Lady Mary Baring'. The care is also easy, it doesn't take long because this plant species is very suitable to be planted in tropical and equatorial climates like our country and can grow up to 10 meters in height. The stems of this flower plant are rather hard, have sharp thorns and are branched. Breeding also only requires cuttings of stems that are sown in plastic wrap or pots in an easy way. In addition, this plant also has dense tendrils, wide and tapered leaves that are able to form a tree trunk in the yard area or as a hedge plant in an attractive area.
