Hydrogen scooter. This scooter is powered by a fuel cell where hydrogen (from the fuel tank) and oxygen (from the air) react to form water and electrical power. The only by-products are heat and water, making this technology a clean source of power compared to the pollutant gases and carbon dioxide produced by the burning of fossil fuels. This is a Suzuki Burgman scooter (160 kilograms, speed of 120 kilometres per hour, and a range of 400 kilometres). Photographed in 2011, in Marcoussis, France.
