Jurassic Landscape
Pterodactyls in an ideal landscape of the Early Jurassic Period, also known as the "Liassic", from the Lias Formation of Western Europe. One pterodactyl glides after a dragonfly, while another rests on a rock outcrop. Trees and shrubs include cycad-like plants (Pterophyllum and Zamites), large horsetails (Equisetum), tree-ferns and a cypress.
