Film Show at Highest Village in the Highlands- Ministry of Information Film Screening, Tomintoul, Banffshire, Scotland, UK, 1943 Ministry of Information Film Operator John Macdougall sets up a screen and loudspeaker in the Memorial Hall in Tomintoul in preparation for the screening of a Ministry of Information film. The loud speaker is resting on the closed lid of an upright piano, with the screen resting on the top of the piano. Mr Macdougall is connecting the 'soundbox'. The original caption states that 'power is provided by the generator in [his] van outside'.
