Aros Castle. Isle of Mull, Scotland

Aros Castle, also known as Dounarwyse Castle, was built in the 13th-century. It is now a ruin and located near Salen on the eastern coast of the Isle of Mull, Scotland. It overlooks the Sound of Mull. The castle has changed ownership over the centuries due to conflict and forfeited by the loser, and as a result has at times been owned by the clans of MacDougall, Donald and Maclean.
