Opening of public skate park largest in south of Scotland, funds raised by voluntary project committee and complete works done in only two years for a cost of £230,000. Ali Hay, known for his appearances on 'Ninja Warrior UK', started the campaign to replace an older skate facility in Shedden Park with a custom designed international standard one featuring the largest 'bowl' in Scotland.
