Household radiator. Radiators circulate hot liquid through exposed pipes to transfer heat to the surrounding air and therefore increase the temperature of a room. Although the name would suggest otherwise, the main method of heat transfer that occurs with radiators is convection, not radiation. This radiator has a thermostat (white dial, top left) which allows the temperature to be set to a specific level.
