Climbing Hermosa. A good strong grower, an abund- ant bloomer, bearing clusters of bright pink lowers. It resembles the favorite Hermosa in everything but its strong climbing growth, and is as hardy. 3Iary Washington. This fine free-blooming rose "is said by the introducer to have been raised from seed by George Washington, in his garden at Mount Vernon, and to have been named by him in honor of his mother Mary Washington. The original bush is still to be seen at Mount^Yernon. The plant is rapid and vigorous in growth, and very free in bloom- ing, bearing fine clusters of fragrant white flowei-s from early spring until late in the fall. We do not consider it quite as hardy as the White Clus- ter, but its association with' the " Father of His Country," and its own beauty and fragrance render it a most desirable rose. Marechal Xeil. A fine climbing tea rose; not hardy except in the Southern States; very double, and deliciously perfumed: color deep golden yellow; flowers and buds very large and borne on long stems! White Cluster. Large clusters of pure white flowers borne in great profusion, single clusters consisting of twenty to thirty large double white flowers.
