Pehrson, who sold his interest in the firm of Pehrson & Marine, at 1134 Bryn Mawr avenue, to his partner about a year and a half ago, paid a visit here this week. He is now growing aspara- gus ferns at Jupiter, Fla., shipping them to this market. J. E. Jones, of the Advance Co., Bich- mond, Ind., was in town last week. , CLEVELAND. • |l i Tlie Market. The market continues to be flooded with some varieties of flowers, but for the most part the supply has dropped considerably. Sweet peas are coming in by the thousands and there is not enough demand for them to use up the large supply. Carnations have dropped off consider- ably, as also have roses. The latter have been arriving mostly in the shorter grades and florists experience much trouble securing long ones for wedding and graduation decorations. Candidum lilies have made their ap- pearance, and so far have been cleaning up nicely. Crimson Ramblers are also in. Outdoor flowers seem to hold sway at present. Peonies from storage have held nicely and are moving well. Amer- ican Beauties have been arriving in big numbers and have come in handy for graduations and weddings, although they have not been in the best of con- dition, due to the warm weather.
