Shoreham Port provides storage, warehousing and handling facilities for Port provides storage facilities for aggregates with three major terminal facilities being operated by CemexRMC and the Dudman Group. Last year, nearly 1,000,000 tonnes of aggregates were shipped into the Port, for use in projects such as road building and cement making. Most of the aggregates that come into Shoreham are from the Isle of Wight area, which is rich in good quality sand and gravel.
