The Sulu Sea surrounding Pulau Sipadan Sabah Malaysia
Pulau Sipadan, or Sipadan Island, is a tiny oceanic island off the northeast coast of Borneo, part of the Malaysian state of Sabah. It is renowned as a world class diving site due to its coral reefs and vast range of fish species. The island is now a nature reserve, with access strictly controlled, all accommodation on the island closed down in 2005.
