Borne in much larger clusters than in Otaksa, quite small plants bearing blooms of the most enormous size, and which are very lasting in quality. The variety is free in growth and very free in the production of bloom. One of the fine t novelties on our list. Price, 20 cents ea h- Pure White Hydrangea, Thomas Ilogg.—A pure white variety, with trusses of flowers measuring fifteen inches in diameter. The plants, when full grown, attain a height and width of six feet. Perfectly hardy, and is one of the finest plants for cemeteries. Price, 10 cents each. Hydrangea, Sapphire.—In this we have what has so long been sought for, viz.: a true blue Hydrangea. The plant is a strong but stocky grower, throwing out numerous trusses of bloom, formed of seve ral rows of flowers, with petals of porcelain-blue cc lor, and with a large, almost flat center, composed of multitudes of small flowers without petals, of the deepest azure-blue. It is not only an abundant bloomer, but begins blooming when very young, and continues in flower at all seasons. The foliage is of moderate size, deep green and glossy, con- trasting exquisitely with its bloom. Remains vig- orous, clean and attractive at all times.
