Chief Sonar Technician (Submarines) Jeremy Thomson receives the traditional first kiss from his wife Alicia upon USS Providence’s (SSN 719) return to Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, CT on Thursday, April 1, 2021 following its 16th and final deployment. The crew of the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine had 34 sailors who were able to qualify as submariners by earning their “dolphins” while on deployment.
