When completed this two- story steel- frame modular unit has the capacity to hold 160 individuals with 20 climate controlled rooms on each floor and is being built by Soldiers of the 176th Engineer Brigade of the Texas Army National Guard at Camp Redleg in Southwest Asia. Also, these modular units can be configured to the needs of the Soldiers with open floors plans or expanded rooms. This is a Army Central Command directed project to enhance the quality of life and save millions of dollars in the future with energy cost savings and troop labor.
