A late Roman bronze figure of a ruler or a dignitary 3rd/4th century AD. Bronze with fine green patina. Three-dimensionally cast figure of a bearded man, the head engraved in detail, with silver-inlaid eyes. Belted coat with geometrically engraved decoration, the right hand with a hole to insert a (missing) lance or the like. Beautiful workmanship and condition. Height 8 cm.
