A few notes were made on the amount of the food required by one Platyedra larva to complete its development. These notes were made in Allowing way. Stacked bolls were opened and examined seed by seed; iber of seeds totally destroyed was noted, and every escape hole cut ? an indication that alarva had been in the boll.
