Here the water, afterbeing driven through a rocky tunnel one hundred feet inlength into a deep cavern, is spouted forth in wild sheetsof foam and spray, while the Atlantics billows seem tojar the solid rocks with thundering sound, and shake thevery crags that dare to stay their onward progress.
