A lion's head sabre for an officer of the II Sea-Battalion., Pipe-backed blade (somewhat stained) with a double-edged point, richly decorated with etchings of a fouled anchor, sailing ship, and vines. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with the reverse side guard plate, which folds to latch the sword in the scabbard, stamped "II. SB". Imitation ivory grip with brass wire winding.
