Destruction of Sprouts, 1297. Destruction of the village Sprouting at Alkmaar, according to Muller in 1303, in reality in 1297. In the middle of the show a cross for a battle and the destruction of the city, underneath a clock and the seal of Sprouts . Above the cross the fame with two trumpets. At the bottom of a cartouche with inscriptions in Latin with the year 1280 and a six-line verse in Dutch.
