Statues, left to right: Michelangelo, Plato, Shakespeare, Newton, Watt. They were carved in situ in 1907 by sculptor Henry Pegram (1862-1937) out of Darley Dale stone. There are four other statues shown in one of my other pictures on Alamy (2YK7X9A).
