They are perfectly hardy, and may be planted as an edging to a bed, or in masses, naturalized in the lawn they are charming; they flower with the Snowdrops and last a log time in perfection. They will thi-ive well in any good garden soil, and are admirable for pot culture, for winter bloom- ing in the house, and for forcing for cut flowers.
