Tate. KANSAS CITY, MO. The Market. Twice as much stock was cut by all growers last week as was cut the week previous. The demand was not nearly so great. Conditions were exactly re- versed. Two weeks ago there was such a scraml)le that choice roses brought almost any price. The dealers were glad to get them. Warm weather has brought a glut of roses since then and prices have been forced down. No stock was dumiied last week, because the wholesalers were fortunate enough to place tlieir surplus. Mums are com- ing in more freely and the western ship- ments are being reduced as the home- grown stock becomes more plentiful. Club Meeting.
