Voigtlander Bessa R 35mm film ragefinder camera circa 2000-2002 with the Voigtlander 35mm Color-Skopar screw mount lens.

A Voigtlander Bessa R 35mm film rangefinder camera with the Voigtlander 35mm Color-Skopar Leica tthread mount lens. The Bessa R was introduced in 2000 as an economically priced alternative to the Leica M rangefinder cameras and was capable of using all the existing Leica thread mount lenses as well as some excellent optics from Voigtlander. Voigtlander was a German optical company founded in 1758 but the brand is now owned by Cosina in Japan. The camera has an very clear and bright rangefinder with selectable frame lines for 35, 50, 75 and 90mm lenses. It also has a simple but effective centre-weighted exposure meter.
