A group of hikers take a guided trek out onto the ice at the Briksdalsbreen glacier in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, in June Briksdal glacier is part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park. Where the tongue descends here you could venture onto the ice as part of a walking or ice climbing party. However, in 2007 these trips were unavailable due to the glacier changing. Instead, trips went out at Bodal.
