They must be provided with latticetl<)(jrs. When the mother rabbit is about tobring forth young she should be placed ina nest hutch. It is not necessary that thisshould be the size of the above, and the open-ing need be only large enough for the motherto pass through, with a few holes above forventilation. The young ones will then be welllodged and protected against inclemencies ofweather.
